Mia Bergles
Associate Producer
Mia is the liaison between cast and crew (or between Bens ego and reality…) She organises shoots, recruits new crew members and takes care of all the legal nonsense nobody else understands.
Mia first got into bossing people around in Kindergarten and found she had a knack for it. She has found working with the Ben Murphy crew to be both challenging and rewarding... but mostly challenging. The end result is great, she loves the show! It’s the behind the scenes that sometimes goes on and on and on and…

Zara Kimber is 19 years old, a Melbournian, and part of the writing team on ‘Live from St Kilda’.
Being one of the younger members of the team, Zara doesn’t have many credits in television. However, she would like to note that she gained valuable leadership skills through her work as a member of year 6 student council in 2013.
Zara’s accolades are numerous, including a 2011 Little Athletics ‘Participation’ Award and Clifton Hill Primary’s prestigious ‘Most Improved in Grammar’ Award. Zara now has her eyes firmly set on an EGOT.
Her newest venture (writing for Ben Murphy and ‘Live from St Kilda’) is by far her most exciting yet and she is always amazed at what rubbish she can make Ben say, he literally reads anything we put on the autocue...

Cooper Dalbo
Camera / Writer
Cooper is a cameraman and assistant writer for The Ben Murphy. When asked to put forward a crew bio he requested his bio said the following
“I am absolute for death; either death or life Shall thereby be sweeter. Reason thus with life: If I do lose thee, I do lose a thing That none but fools would keep: a breath thou art, Servile to all the skyey influences, That dost this habitation, where thou keepest, Hourly afflict: merely, thou art death's fool."
Yeah, we have no idea what it means either and tend to think the less we ask, the better and maybe safer we will be…

Aidan D’Arcy
Camera
Here at “Live from St Kilda with Ben Murphy” we pride ourselves on being a diverse and inclusive workspace, however we are still not really sure if this one is "human". We don't really know where Aiden came from or who he is but he kind of just hangs around. Never speaks either.
We have tried everything to get him to leave but nothing worked... eventually we just got him on a camera and, surprisingly, he's been actually excellent at that job.
We try not to question anything else too much.

Stuart Jaymes
Camera / Editing
Stuart Jaymes was introduced to the camera at the age of fourteen and has developed a love for the medium through his curiosity and fascination with the art of light and film. Inspired by Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, David Fincher, Janusz Kamiński, Darius Khondji, Roger Deakins and Jeff Cronenweth, Stuart brings a compelling and thought-provoking style to everything he shoots.
He has played a pivotal role as director, cinematographer and photographer on advertising campaigns for clients such as Priceline, Michael Kors, Holster Shoes, Roland Australia and Swisse. He has also been instrumental in helping Instagram models achieve 60,000+ followers – a testament to why he is regularly approached for street and fashion shoots. He has worked as a cinematographer on I’m an Actor, Oz Linked, Little Diva Rising, The Other Side Of Paradise and is continuing to develop his craft, working regularly now as a cinematographer and editor on various film and television projects.

Michael de Lange
Sound Mixing / Composer
Michael is currently studying an honours degree in film with a keen interest in sound, music composition, and sucking up to anyone with rich parents for project funding. Despite being the only person listed as “Misc. Crew” on callsheets, they play an important role in setting up audio equipment on set, as well as roasting Ben to keep him grounded before he gets cancelled like Ellen.
Michael has worked in a variety of roles across a range of projects, most notably as head of sound and composition on Showgirl, the 2021 best documentary short winner at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival. Maybe one day Ben will finally recognise Michael’s talent and take them off the Misc Crew list but for now, enjoy his music and the quality broadcast audio from the sound/Misc. Crew team.

Sheridyn Burrows
Set Design
Sheridyn has been passionate about everything film and television since a young age. She considers herself as an all-round crew member and has worked with Melbourne based companies as a production assistant and video editor.
Sherydyn has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and TV at Deakin University and is keen to progress in her creative career. During her time at Deakin she was nominated for best script writer in her final year and directed her own film. Although this was a great opportunity she found herself wanting to design the set more than anything else.
Sheridyn loves to travel back in time and collect unique props and furnishings that have character and tell a story, so when she heard that Ben Murphy Live was looking for a seventies, retro theme she couldn’t have found a more perfect match. She wanted the set to feel like you were inside of a cozy yet vibrant lava lamp to reflect Ben’s bubbly and warm personality! She is beyond proud that the old TV set Ben Murphy uses as his coffee table has become the crews favourite prop.
She is thrilled to be a key member on making "Live From St Kilda with Ben Murphy" look as amazing as it does.

Alja Timonina
Set Design
Coming to us all the way from St Petersburg Russia, this asset to our team had one of the most important tasks. The CHAIR. Every chat show host needs a chair that not only fits in with the set, but also is comfortable and reflects the Hosts personality. Hot pink and loud she has managed just that.
Sara Murphy
Makeup and Hair
Sara is the person responsible for somehow making our host, Ben Murphy, look almost human. No easy task...
Sara started in makeup over 20 years ago and has been lucky enough to work in Ireland, London, the USA, Paris and Australia.
Whether it is a runway, a studio, a party or a wedding I get just as excited for each client. It is my passion, her first love, her creative playground and her therapy. Sara is forever grateful to call this her job.
